Thank you for this. My co-workers and I have been doing "Alternating Hybrid" for the past year and our conclusion is that it just doesn't work. It simultaneously doubles the teachers' workload while halving the students' classroom experience and just is not...satisfying for anyone. Ironically, the days where I have been in the classroom with small classes of just a dozen students have been some great lesson days. As we discuss moving forward, I'm trying to shout down any cries of "getting back to normal" with "moving forward to better." I'm not sure I can shout loud enough.
